The Cult of Ron Paul will defeat Ron Paul and I don't care

I'm a Ron Paul supporter and even I am getting sick and tired of all the cyber freaks out there. Someone mentioned that a lot of these people probably jumped on the bandwagon and the episode with Guiliani during the second debate and i couldn't agree more. I attended a meeting two weeks ago come up with ideas on how best to promote Ron and his ideas in Northern New Jersey. There where 51 people there and I would say that about 40% of them had no real clue as to what Paul's stances where on other issues besides the war and foreign policy. That is all they wanted to focus on because that is all they knew.

I don't agree with Ron Paul on all his stances, pro-life & anti-gay marriage, but I agree with his solution to these issues. For me he is definitely the best candidate out of the lot but that doesn't make him perfect.

I think he has a shot. Conservatism is stronger in America than it has been since Reagan. The difference with Reagan is that at that time the GOP was equally strong and beloved. Right now, the GOP is almost as unpopular as the democrats.

Paul, like the Democrats is putting Christianity more on his sleeve to get the one core group that is still more neo-con than libertarian.

If I had to guess right now, I'd say he won't get the nomination. But if he does, I will not be blown away.
