you know why this show will never work? Ever? never in a million years? this type of show needs to be smart and funny. and there is no such thing as a smart or funny conservative.

    I guess it has potential. With the popularity of the Daily Show and Colbert Report I think there may be some interest from the right wing crowd as well. If the video is any indication, however, they have a lot of work to do. The laugh track just sounds retarded.

    It doesn't stand a chance. I can't believe they are actually trying. So they're making fun of a show who makes fun of shows like theirs? That seems really fucked up and they're really making fun of themselves.

    BO jokes this early in a campaign?

    I actually love the Colbert Report. And from the looks of the Half Hour News Hour, the cheesy humor is going to be pretty funny as well. It's agonizingly understandable that you don't comprehend why they would use a cheap, almost sarcastic laugh box.


    But of course I'm a conservative. I laugh at anything funny. Not just Bush jokes. Liberals thinking conservatives have no sense of humor is the biggest hoax since global warming. This thread, as it grows, should help present that point.

    yes, there is no half hour news show that talks about current events that is humorous with a liberal slant. No show whatsoever. Certainly not one of the highest rated cable tv shows thats host was chosen to host the oscars. Nope, conservatives are the only ones that come up with anything.

    The cons will more than likely subject themselves to their humorless show just to prove a point. :p
