    Very disturbing video. No doubt about it there is barbarism on both sides of the conflict. It is a very sad reality of this war. I don't think there is anyone who comes out looking good in this region.

    I think Shiraz is objective enough to acknowledge that there is death and destruction of civilians on both sides of the conflict. Nobody (not even the extremists) in my belief thinks this is an ideal situation. I think everyone wants peace, but have different ideas/philosophies to achieve it, even if they are through violence. I don't think I articulated that well.

    I am a pacifist, but I do believe that violence/war is necessary at times, and I would like to think that I could (but hope do god that i never have to find out) kill or fight to protect my family against any threats against us.

    Shows perfectly how this policy of revenge from both sides will only lead to more suffering and sorrow. The only way to stop this cycle of death and destruction is to stop the violence, not create new excuses for there to be more of this.

    "The only way to stop this cycle of death and destruction is to stop the violence"

    how do you do that? give palestinians the land, no that didn't work. i guess if all jews did a mass suicide it would stop the violence, long enough for radical islam to focus on somebody else.

    How about just not killing them anymore and see where that takes you.

    How about treating them like equals and tear down the walls and give them access to the services and cities like the rest of the Jews. Admittedly, this will not achieve peace overnight, but if the Palestinians believe that the Jews are serious about co-existing with them like equals and have hope for peace in harmony, than perhaps they won't feel so driven to violence. I think people on both sides are tired of the violence and would embrace peace if they were given an indication that they will be treated fairly and has humans.

    thats just nuts, the isralei's have bent over backwards to co-exist with the palestinians..but thats not what the muslims want. really, thats just nuts.

    They have not bent over backwards. They erected an illegal wall, have put in checkpoints, given them second rate services at best, continue to settle Palestinian land and kidnap officials. I'm not suggesting that Palestinian terrorists are the good guys but to say that Israel has done their best to integrate and co-exist with the Palestinians is nuts. Do you think so long as the status quo is preserved that the palestinians will just renounce violence while still being treated like crap?

    no, i think they should all gather around and sing pearl jam songs, and drink some bud select..but i get the feeling one side wants that more than the other. what do you think?

    I was under the impression they already tried that, 15-20 years ago, and then Muslim extremists started coming in and blowing up themselves and anyone within the kill range of the bombs.
