Alcohol kills germs

I have a horrible sore throat. I imagine that some sort of germ is causing it. It's obvious what I must do.

    I don't know if tequila is the best remedy. I mean, my father always said, alcohol is the best remedy. But doesn't it cause liver and brain damage?
