On July 4th, Bush actually said this in his address to the Virginia National Guard: "Victory in this struggle will require more patience, more courage, and more sacrifice."

When in his entire fucking life has he ever displayed anything resembling courage, or sacrificed one damn thing? He actually said this to people who have been deployed two, three, four, five times. This spineless twit who didn't even show up for his own reserve duty when no one was going to be shooting at him, who spent half the day on 9/11 flying around in hiding without so much as a few words to the American people, is telling these guys we need more courage? This selfish bastard who has lived a life of extreme privilege, who told the American public to go shopping after 9/11, who cut taxes for the wealthiest Americans in the middle of a war, is asking THESE men and women for more sacrifice?

That's a well-disciplined bunch, to be able to sit there and listen to crap like that coming out of this idiot's mouth.

It makes you appreciate the actions of Pat Tillman all the more. THAT guy payed. And then his family payed when the U.S. military fucked him over. But then, so have the families of the 3600 dead and the 26,000 injured. All for a pack of lies.

When the president talks to God
Are the conversations brief or long?
Does he ask to rape our women’s' rights
And send poor farm kids off to die?
Does God suggest an oil hike
When the president talks to God?

When the president talks to God
Are the consonants all hard or soft?
Is he resolute all down the line?
Is every issue black or white?
Does what God say ever change his mind
When the president talks to God?

When the president talks to God
Does he fake that drawl or merely nod?
Agree which convicts should be killed?
Where prisons should be built and filled?
Which voter fraud must be concealed
When the president talks to God?

When the president talks to God
I wonder which one plays the better cop
We should find some jobs. the ghetto's broke
No, they're lazy, George, I say we don't
Just give 'em more liquor stores and dirty coke
    That's what God recommends

When the president talks to God
Do they drink near beer and go play golf
While they pick which countries to invade
Which Muslim souls still can be saved?
I guess god just calls a spade a spade
When the president talks to God

When the president talks to God
Does he ever think that maybe he's not?
That that voice is just inside his head
When he kneels next to the presidential bed
Does he ever smell his own bullshit
When the president talks to God?

    I doubt it

    I doubt it

Are you personally willing to put forth the commitment, effort, dedication, hours and stress that it would take to be president of the United States?

The only thing I truly hate about Bush is... he has given Republicans a bad name... and they will be unable to rid themselves of the Bush smell for decades. Not that I'm a GOP, but damn do I empathise with the Republicans right now. They won't get two bits of respect from the American people for years to come. The next Republican president will have a truly difficult four years, because he will unfortunately be associated with the Dubbya!

Nope. I do not support Bush.

What you do sense is someone wondering how someone else can question someone's "sacrifice" when they are not willing to do the job themselves.
