Hey all,

For those interested, the public radio show "This American Life" has put together two great podcasts regarding the current state of our economy in pretty simple terms so everyone can understand what is going on and what has occurred. The links are below (each is roughly an hour long) and you can listen online for free by clicking "Full Episode". I highly recommend them and it makes more sense to listen to the Giant Pool of Money first.

The Giant Pool of Money 5/9/08

Another Frightening Show About the Economy 10/3/08

CONservative governMENt

Our government is the potent, the omnipresent teacher. For good or for ill, it teaches the whole people by its example. Crime is contagious. If the government becomes a law-breaker, it breeds contempt for law; it invites every man to become a law unto himself; it invites anarchy. - Louis Brandeis

I just listened to The Giant Pool of Money a couple of days ago....very interesting! And my husband listened to the second one today and said it was also great. I'm gonna try and listen to it tomorrow.
