If Hillary is the nominee...will you demand her to withdrawl? Or could you support her if she is wants a presence in Iraq? If she refuses a withdrawal, will you support a third party candidate?
And you ask me what I want this year
And I try to make this kind and clear
Just a chance that maybe we'll find better days
Cuz I don't need boxes wrapped in strings
And desire and love and empty things
Just a chance that maybe we'll find better days

If Hilary is nominated, I already anticipate her desire to stay the course and I intend to support a third party candidate.
I cannot come up with a new sig till I get this egg off my face.

Man, I respect that...the idea of believing in something...

  • I hate to say this but having grown up thinking i was a "liberal", the democratic nominees all suck donkey. ;)

I mean Osama is the only one worth a hill and it's a molehill.

Everyone running on both "sides" is a CFR member and NONE of the are going to do SHIT for YOU.

Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate who believes that "this land belongs to you and me" ... and he is the ONLY candidate who would get assassinated before seeing out his first day in office.

    I truly believe that.

    :(
If I was to smile and I held out my hand
If I opened it now would you not understand?

CFR is key to success in this game

I don't think you are allowed to win without their prior approval

That would be because it's the truth.

Mainstream candidate voting = more of same ol same old.

It might (maybe) delay it for a year...maybe two (if at all) but it will get back full steam ahead with corporate domination to heck with the little guy, not to mention continual war as a means to a "solution"

Current US foreign policy is suicidal.
Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

I don't see republicans demanding President Bush end this conflict. He still has the time and authority to do so. Why are you willing to sit back and wait?

Why don't you demand that the republicans STEP UP. Republicans could have and still can save the lives of U.S. troops but you don't, simply because your Republican and don't want to stand with any Democrats.

Republican Senators could have stood by the democrats as representing the voice of America to

    -reduce funding to this conflict
-to shorten the deployment of troops

The republicans had the majority in Congress to BRING THE TROOPS HOME long before the democrats took the majority of seats in Congress. Even now the democrats NEED republican senatorial help to pass ANY bill that will reduce the troops or bring them home and override a Presidential veto.

Iraq will always be a Republican legacy of death and destruction no matter what candidate is nominated.
SIN EATERS--We take the moral excrement we find in this equation and we bury it down deep inside of us so that the rest of our case can stay pure. That is the job. We are morally indefensible and absolutely necessary.

You understand that every statesman in the realm understands that the "real" reason for this war is O-I-L and that to vote against O-I-L is to vote against your own political future, right?

These people aren't stupid, they are just assholes.

    This world makes me sick.

  • Hilary's considerable presence on the AIPAC payroll (look it up) pretty much guarantees a policy that will do as little as necessary, just enough to slightly temper the public opinion

If Hilary was the nominee, I would vote for the republican candidate, or a third party, depending on who they are. I don't care how much I disagree with them, ANYBODY but her!!! Honestly, I am not much into American politics, there are only two parties that represent a nation whose ideals like somewhere in the middle... where is that going to get us?? I'm currently liking the French government now a days. The President's Prime Minister MUST be of the opposing party. While some may say that this way of governing will get them nowhere, I think it gives a varying perspective on issues that matter to the French people. Don't think I'm all about France though, I doubt there really is a government that is for the people, by the people anywhere in this world. One day...

I believe that we need to be there as long as it takes. if it's 50 years, i'm willing to do so. I'm completely committed to it.

I'm guessing the left views this as a political issue though and i'm interested in those of you who are anti-war....and what you will do in the 2008 election b/c like it or not, Hillary, if elected, will not withdrawl.

i'm just trying to figure out what you think about that.

i will say, i think you are a simpleton and really need to think about these important issues...and to believe this war is for oil is a bumper sticker

but let's say you are right, and it is...

wasn't stalingrad a war for oil?

Well i won't be supporting her in the first place and supporting a 3rd party is a possibility to me if she's nominated.

If I'm not mistaken at one time wasn't she a Republican?

I heard her claim the other day something along the lines of "I was Republican before I knew better".

As a sidenote, did anyone see Bill on the Daily Show yesterday? He was there to discuss his new book but it was definitely a campaign opportunity for Hillary. I think I could stand her being president as long as we get Bill back in the White House. Would you all rather have Mit Romney or Rudy Guiliani?! No thanks!
