SURE she has her arm in a sling because someone shook her hand too hard....
isnt her husband the guy with the "temper"... the one that called her a "CUNT"? why didnt she just say she ran into a door? fell down the steps? fell in the shower? why doesnt she just come out and say "we dont know him like she does"? or "it was my fault, i know better than to make him angry"? or.. "he is under a lot of stress, and I was out of line"? anything would be better than the hand shake story. better be careful with those injuries cindy... his last wife got all banged up and he left her for you when he was repulsed by her appearence... and it would show even less class to whore your wife out to a gang of bikers when her arm is all fucked up.

    c'mon now.
  • sprained wrist...and the whole arm in a sling

    right....of course...

    cockamamie story for sure....

I bet she's doing it for sympathy...

how many women do you know that are married to guys known for their temper... that end up with their arm in a sling telling an ABSURD story about a handshake that NOBODY saw... and you dont ask questions?

so he punches the woman around a little, calls her a cunt every now and again, leaves women when they are disfigured in car accidents... no big deal, right?

dude, john mccain is a dickhead, no doubt. it wouldn't surprise me if any of those other charges are true. i havent actually heard about them to be honest. but if she has carpal tunnel syndrome, i'll give her the benefit of the doubt.

  • Unsubstantiated rumors or fun... especially when you use them to call someone a wife beater.

I don't even like McCain, but this kind of crap in politics disgust me.

You had to know McCain's indiscretions would get caught in the middle of this sex scandal. It has become a media wet dream, sex sells. This has gone way past politics to sleazy entertainment and ad-libs. In trying to destroy Edwards, they are going to ruin McCain by way of the glass house.
SIN EATERS--We take the moral excrement we find in this equation and we bury it down deep inside of us so that the rest of our case can stay pure. That is the job. We are morally indefensible and absolutely necessary.

so wait... if your sister, or mother, or daughter was married to a man known for his temper, who called her a trollup and a cunt in front of other people and she ended up in a sling saying someone shook her hand to hard, but nobody saw it happen, you would accept that at face value? you wouldnt have any doubts or questions?

He's known for his temper, but I've never heard anything at all about him getting physically angry.

And if the trollup/cunt remark was witnessed but other people, maybe I would believe it more if someone else talked about it, not just an author writing an anti-McCain book.

Look, I'm not a fan of McCain, but starting rumors or a whisper campaign (with absolutely no evidence) about him being a wife beater, is a big deal. That's a charge that sticks with someone.

And if I heard someone call my sister that, or she told me it happened, then I would have a problem with it. But Just because someone loses their temper doesn't make them violent.

And the wrist thing? My wife has bad tendons in her wrist from carpal tunnel or whatever repetitive stress caused it, should I be accused of hurting her since no one saw her actually get hurt? I'm sure Cindy McCain (like Michelle Obama) shakes hundreds of hands a day campaigning... maybe she has a history of wrist pain, I don't know... and neither do you or anyone making the HUGE leap that her husband beats her.

Instead of excepting it at face value and questioning it, you are accusing...big difference.

You should be more careful what you accuse people of without facts. It could happen to you someday.

She was probably giving John a handjob and....well...you know; at his age.....that's a major chore and could lead to some muscle/ligament/joint stress and pain.
