help with this weekend

so, i have this problem. i was kinda planning on having a few drinks this weekend, but im not really in the mood to molest any children. now that i know one thing directly leads to the other, what are my options? is there any way the speaker of the house and the president of the united states can stand outside my room and play lookout to make sure nobody finds out if my mikes hard lemonaid does make me molest some kids, or does that just work for republicans? i only ask because im an independent. also, do i need to be a christian for the christian right to come to my defence and blame the molestation on the child, or will they do that for an agnostic as well?

ha, ha, ha..... I wonder... will he still be a pedophile when he gets out of alcohol rehab? If I went to alcohol rehab would that cure me of my M&M binging? Maybe alcohol IS the root of all evil... so if you get over that then you do nothing else wrong. Ha!

I agree with the point this thread is trying to make, but I'd like to point out that alcohol IS a factor in many molestation scenarios ... It doesn't magically create a pedophile where one didn't exist before, but it can disinhibit people who already have those tendencies.

Yes I agree. I have always said that drunkeness reveals "the real person." There are those who always want to fight when they are drunk - the angry people. There are those who want to cry and feel sorry for themselves - the sad people. There are those who poke fun and say cruel things to others and about others when drunk - the intolerant mean people. There are those who laugh at everything and chatter when drunk - the happy, social people. Then there are those that can control their violence somewhat when not drinking, but loosen them up with alcohol and out comes those tendencies. Just like with a pedophile I guess. I just wonder exactly how well Foley controlled those tendencies though when not drinking. From what I have seen on tv those are some pretty strong urges. Plus, I have my doubts on how drunk he really was - this may be his excuse and who is around to dispute it?

I don't think that alcohol or the fact that you were ALLEGEDLY abused when you were younger excuses any of your actions today.

Foley is a scumbag and all of the people who protected him and/or waited to use this for political gain are not much better.

What she did was horrible, she could have just found me, I'm of age.

However, that teacher never took an oath to defend the constitution of this country, and is not a representative of the people.

Foley should get the same fate as all the dudes from Dateline summer series, what is so different about it?

The student dropped charges because his parents refused to have him put on the stand, and that would have to happen if they went to trial. They wanted to protect him from the media.

Isn't this getting old!!!! Confess that your an alcoholic and check yourself immediately into a rehab facility because that demonstrates that - you - are not fully responsible for your actions. If Kennedy wasn't too fat to fit behind a steering wheel, he would have found another bridge by now. If Gibson wasn't a producer he would have found a way to kill Jews in real life. Even without another drink, Foley will find another child, he's a pedophile. He NEEDS to be with young boys and he'll find a way if freed.
