    I was looking at this, specifically for the information about JFK, but I guess that hasn't been released. There was some info about the Bay of Pigs operation, but nothing we didn't already know.

    ....well, at least now it is official that:

    1 - that CIA was successful in the assassination of Patrice Lumumba, leader of the democratic republic of Congo
    2 - that CIA's ordinary methods included kidnapping, assassination plots, illegal surveillance of American journalists and US citizens
    3 - that Kissinger was the mastermind of many of these plots......

    Interestingly many of these facts have been known about for years and passed around by conspiracy theorists. When the information is finally exacerbated by a declassification such as this; it gets ignored.

    'The govt is just to dumb to pull this kinda stuff off without us finding out'....as if it's 'whatever moron president and his crew that happen to be in office at the time' that are the brains behind pulling this kinda shit off. On top of that...it does slip out, some things don't stay covered and we try to get the word out...and they just call us crazy.

    4 - the CIA has been violating its charter for decades, which states it can only operate outside of the US
