Shouldn't everyone be saying "I'm sorry" more?

Honestly. Lots of mistakes are made by everyone. Especially politicians. I pull negative add after negative add out of my mailbox and see them on TV. I guess they work. I don't get why they'd want to give more pub to thier opponent than to themselves....what do I know, I just work in promotions?

The "spy plane" incident could have been solved easily with an "I'm sorry, will you please give us our troops back?"

Kerry could just say, look, there are lots of intelligent people who go into the service....I'm sorry, I was trying to take a shot at the president and the tactics of republicans with this war.

Why are our politicians so concerned with saving face. We're and egg on the face country. Everyone makes mistakes, what's so frigging wrong with admitting it, saying we're sorry and moving on. We actually even respect those who admit fault more so why won't politicians do it? Afraid of a negative add? Really? That's lame. Politics is supposed to be public service, not a career, who care's if you lose trying to be a good person and do what's right? Way to many self importants in office.

Hey, it's probably the same black and white world mentality that prohibits politicians from working truthfully working together more. It's really not all that hard to admit when somebody makes a good point. All politicial arguements are rooted in semantics.

It's time everyone owned up to it and appologised for being jerks to one another.
My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

Yea, this Kerry fiasco is rediculous (on both sides). Upcoming election or not, he needs to appologize - it's just the right thing to do.
I smile, but who am I kidding...
