might as well have one with his stance on the issues instead of paraphrasing.

Quite proud of the Georgia Democrats going against the old political guard in the state and going with Obama... kudos.

My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

ron paul has good policies and sound ideas but he is not fit to be president. I'm glad he is in our government but fuck. so many rp supporters on this board need to chill the fuck out and stop being such pricks.
I'm not sure that he's not fit to be president. I certainly think he's every bit as qualified as Clinton, Obama, Romney, etc... He's got both public and private sector experience that not all of them have. He's not my ideal candidate due to some of his religious right positions, but he's the closest thing there is for me.
I'm with you here. I may post in a Paul thread to answer a question, but almost every time I throw in the caveat that he can't win. I'm not voting for him because I think he can win. I don't feel like voting is a contest to see if you can pick a winner. But there are some hyper-fanatic Paul supporters who are delusional in their conviction that Paul can and will win. It ain't gonna happen.
You gotta admit that it would be funny as hell to see this loony as President. Maybe loony is too harsh a word but he seems a bit crazy whenever I hear him speak. As for being "fit" to be President, GW Bush is pretty much retarded and he won 2 elections (well 1 maybe 2 elections), so if Bush is fit pretty much anybody is fit.
not just on the board but all around. Agreed. I voted for policies and ideas yesterday knowing full well it wasn't going to show largely. I watched as much political coverage as ever last night, even then I had to remind myself not to take it so seriously. I think RP is simply getting a lot of the younger crowd who are just more passionate thus all the shenanigans. Romney had a ton of supporters out near the polls as did Hillary though why anyone would support her I have no clue.
I think mainly that 2 or 3% Paul got were probably the mostly libertarian crowd that split a little bit with Huckabee and the Fair Tax even though he's religously scary. There aren't that many of us that are economic conservatives and socially liberal.... RP is anti choice too so that probably lost him a few votes or maybe earned one or two who knows..
It's not the end of the world anyway it goes...but at this point I'm really pulling for Obama because I'd rather have Anyone than Hillary and I'm not sure anyone in the Republican party is all that galvanizing or worth voting for. At least Obama seems like he wants to work with people.
Honestly I have no clue why people are so concerned about the religion of the canidate. That's almost as ridiculous as voting on gender or race... but that seemed to be a knock on Romney for whatever reason.
A = Anyone
B = But
H = Hillary
So at this point Go Obama.
Its a crazy fucking world, man.
I guess you missed that.
If I opened it now would you not understand?
so that justifies him yelling and talking like a mad man? sorry not in my book.
The American people are not fit to select a president
they don't get the chance too anyway.
Ron Paul has consistently been the most composed candidate on stage.
It is the neo-con stooge-monkeys that yell at HIM and laugh and jeer, and generaly act like monkeys in a zoo.
I haven't seen him yell at all in recent debates ... maybe when someone asks him a purely derogatory question, and he responds with force.
Me thinks you don't know what you are talking about, Jlew.
If I opened it now would you not understand?
this is true
I would have to agree with this as well.
Keep on talking and stirring the pot Dr. Paul. It is fun to listen to you and I like that you challenge people, but I am looking forward to Obama beating McCain in November.
So naturally you guys should elect a crazy-person then. I just want to see him get on all fours and bite Mitt Romney in the ankle while reciting more economics rhetoric in the next debate. That's good crazy debatin' there.
