2 states.... just 2. Far from over, not really even begun.

Not really a big deal it's just being blown up because we have so much media these days.

We still are choosing between a S**T Sandwich and a Giant Douche.

Focus on issues that are important to you mainly and try and focus on them and avoid red herrings. You are simply not going to like a canidate or a persons views and opinions on everything. Ask yourself...would you enjoy working for this person (not that you are they are supposedly working for you ha ha) but some people will be not to mention it speaks to leadership. Determine if you believe they are able to critically think and will not surround themselves with like minded yes people. Think about what it would be like to eat dinner with them and if they would make you feel important and part of the conversation or talk over and or ignore you because that's what they will do in thier state dinners and diplomatic visits as well.

Don't vote for someone because of the endorsement of parents friends or some celebrity, it'll just make you feel lame about it later..... but don't not vote for them because of that either. If you like them... you like them just do your own research. Sometimes they still turn out to be douches later but that's life....and they are politicians....it's not all your fault.

Take the time to go vote, even if it's annoying because the process is important even if you hate the major canidates and while you're there read the entire ballot, there is a lot more locally you can effect with referendums and other leaders who can make changes locally.

Don't get discouraged.

cheers, have a great day.

Over the summer the media had Hillary and Romney as the front-runners, making them seem unstoppable. Then the media made it seem that Obama won the Democratic nomination after just one state voted. He may still win and I understand the excitement about him but it was just one state. They also didn't think John McCain was even a contender and Huckabee out of nowhere beats Romney lol. Who are the front-runners now? No one knows lol.

The way I look at it all of the candidates whether Democrat or Republican seem like a big improvement from Bush. Although McCain has been at little odd lately but I think he is just saying what he thinks he needs to say to win the nomination. Not sure it will work though.

    Stay tuned lol.

  • Totally... people here have been freaking out since Iowa was done.

Not that it is relevant in primaries, but we are talking about 2 states that have a total of 11 electoral votes.

I think people are just surprised to see the anti-war stance is not such a country wide unified understanding as has been perceived.

Bush's low approval rating and bring the troops home is really not a homogeneous sentiment apparently. I think the results are touched, but who knows. Fat and happy is fat and happy, as long as people don't have to go over there and do it, or notice too many of the effects, or see bloody hamburger chunks in the media on any given day.
Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

I think the reason that the anti-war is low right now is the percieved war getting better with the surge. as usual the economy is the big story.
