This was pretty good last night, going after the republican party and representative Cantor about McCain trying to run for "change" and ignoring his party's past performance.

  • Go Chris!!!

"You're claiming you're running against this administration, and I'm not going to let anyone get away with that kind of foolery!

You have to take responsibility for the policies of this administration that have gotten us into this mess. You can't walk away and say, 'Oh, we had nothing to do with this'"

That's a great question that hasn't been asked enough during the last eight years, where is President Bush???

One of the least visible, lowest-profile presidents I can remember. Even a senile 2nd-term Reagan had a higher profile than this guy.

Now, during yet another crisis that has occurred on his watch, an ideal time to step up and try to instill confidence, where is he?

Is it because he's prone to make a fool of himself almost every time he opens his mouth? Because his complete lack of oratory skill inspires no confidence?

    Just wondering.

The Republicans won't allow him to speak because they're pretending he doesn't exist. Like they're pretending they aren't the ones who steered us into this mess for the past 8 years (but..but..but.. the Democrats controlled Congress for 2 years! It's all THEIR fault!!!).

If he came on TV to address the nation you could sit back and watch McCain's points drop. And God forbid they lose their shot at another four years!!

  • Chris is a blow-hard, but I do love him when he goes crazy like this. I loved the one where he asked the guy about "appeasement" a few months back. I laughed my ass off at that one and this is a close 2nd to that one.

I get the impression that Chris is really sick of the election right now, he just seems so cranky.
