All the crooked concessionaires at MSG are all still there-( I see them often at NYR games, other concerts, whatever ) --- the very same scumbags that hoarded all the Mad Scientist Ames Posters from the 2003 shows are still there .
Hopefully there will be some semblance of organization and fairness so that all the true blue diehard fans can get a poster this time !

I'm worried as hell about the way MSG ' 03 went down-
from someone who took the subway into the Garden that morning-
and saw mayhem and chaos break out at the Gardens Lobby Entrance-
with crooked concessionaires hoarding all the posters.
it was like they only had 100 of the fucking things for thousdands who were there ( early ) searching for these posters.
They tried to do a line and number thing- but i dont know how well that all went down , either.
i hear it also was bogus .
the markups on these MSG posters ( 03 ) was crazy- still they are highly sought.

man, that MSG '03 poster is so not worth the hype .... I mean, if you went, yeah, it would be nice to have ... but, sheesh, it's not THAT nice.
were the 10c members that were let in early shut out?

not a shot lol
thank god i have zero interest lol
i really, really, really hope you are right!
*fingers crossed*
i wasn't *into* posters in 2003, those 2 MSG shows were my 2nd and 3rd pj shows, respectively, ever.....didn't even KNOW about posters then. all i DO know is i paid a pretty penny TO get the 2003 poster. totally worth it to me, but none the less...i would FAR prefer paying face value AT the show. i DO hope they do 1 poster to cover both nights.
and YES pre-orders would be IDEAL!
Let's just breathe...
I am myself like you somehow
( im positive it will be needed )
i have reserved that notion in my mind that i will most likely part with some of my present collection in lieu of a MSG 08 poster when i like everyone else will bomb out when they open up the gates at The Garden.-

bathy dear, don't be so doom and gloom! i'm an optimist! i will hope for the best and if it doesn't happen....well, we ALL know there are other avenues down the road if need be. that said, why worry and fret about it now? i'll just think positively and whatever happens will happen, no matter my attitude about it beforehand.
hopefully, the poster gods will conspire to make it a quick and painless experience. if nothing else, hopefully the 10c and/or poster artists will have made better arrangements for it so more get in the hands of FANs.
some may call me a dreamer......

man you nailed it to a T the whole place is corrupt there will be more people at these shows who get the poster before any 10c members do that is the nature of the beast know as MSG good place to see show but totally mob operated ,yeah come to think about it i fucking hate the way it's managed ....
OR...when we pick up our tix they ask if we want a poster, which we pre-pay...get a coupon and likewise.
that would be sweet if they did this!
let's hope at these show's we get the same merchandise crew who did ed's '08 tour. i loved them. they layed the smack down. 1 per person! that's what it should be. not one guy picking up 10+ posters right on the spot. mama mia!
by my experience at the Garden in 2003 ( check the first post )
keeps me grounded and realizing that the chances are slim and none.
plus all the poster " hype " is proobably increasing 10 fold since 2003, but
who knows for sure.
GuitrarHeros suggestion has been mentioned before- The 10C is busy enough and alltho thats a great idea i dont see them taking on yet another task at the ticket booths on showday(s), with all of us rabid, drooling pearl jam poster lunatics breathing down their necks .
Best Of Luck, Everyone !

Do you have to list your show like that.........
I would imagine if Ames is doing a sub, it should be announced sometime soon like the begining of May.
seeing firsthand with my eyes-,..and then reading all the threads
I am ashamed to be from The Greatest City In The World- in The Worlds Most Famous Arena -
that we cant get this poster thing down.
You can travle to a city like Camden - and they have the absolute smoothest poster transaction yet to date.
The blame goes on MSG folks- NOT the 10C or PJ .
They ( MSG ) should be ashamed of themselves,.
