I was at that place once, in 2006 to see the Misfits. I bought a Lager for $6 because I thought it'd be the cheapest, but then my buddy got a Heinekin for the same price. I found that to be odd... But luckily, we found a Rolling Rock stand that was cheaper. Gumby was selling Rolling Rock, and Gumby was hot.

I think that everyone living in Montreal, Quebec or anywhere around there will agree with me that Pearl Jam should play the METROPOLIS in Montreal!!! I saw so many bands there (Queens of the Stone Age, Blur, Rancid, NOFX, Sonic Youth, etc. and lately The Beastie Boys) and this place is awesome for shows. I know the show would be kicking ass!!! It would be as crazy as what we see in the Even Flow video in the Moore's Theater but still, it would be quite an experience!
Ten Club show there? You bet I'd go!

2008 is the year everyone here can save money......
because these guys will not be touring.....
I really think they'll do some shows with it being an election year. Maybe not a full fledged tour, but at least a short one like the Vote for Change tour in 04.
i don't care if it's 08 or 2018, but i've been screaming and pleading for a "tenclub only small venue tour" for a while.
:(
I still like the idea of doing a REGULAR tour and then just having even a 10 or 12 song "mini-show" at a smaller venue for the hardcores at each city with a stop on it, and ONLY play the "good shit". Basicaly Do 30 dates, and maybe every OTHER city add a second show in a small club\theatre for that purpose.
If I was to smile and I held out my hand
If I opened it now would you not understand?
i dont think we'll get a sniff of a new album till near the end of 08
09 will perhaps see some shows - and small 10c onlys, even one per round, would be just so so amazing i would walk on air for the remainder of this little decade
That would be excellent...will keep my fingers crossed.

This makes no sense financially. I can see a small warmup minitour of a few (meaning 10 or less) club gigs, but no way in hell they'll do a whole tour of "tenclub only shows."
maybe a few vote for change type shows in medium sized venues,
but a small club 10C only string of shows isn't likely. those days
are gone forever, i'm afraid.
though it sure would be nice, it just doesn't make sense financially for the band.

I second that!!! Especially Starland!
They don't NEED to be tenclub only shows for me - but that would be very cool

because these guys will not be touring.....
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....
Agreed that they won't be touring, but we'll be spending money because they'll be coming out with some new stuff that we'll all "have to have".

I could go for that!
I am not saying they will tour this year, but I expect them to be working on a new studio album this year.
Small venue tour; I vote The Showbox, of course!
+1

Come on Pearl Jam stop fucking around and play the showbox already... seriously.
