I'm probably older than most of you and remember the event at the center of this movie, but if a trailer is any indication of a decent film, then it's a good time for this one:

Being a fan of Bobby the man, I think I'd really enjoy this movie. But I'm sure there are many others that wouldn't, if for any other reason than they don't like the Kennedy's.

That being said, what a list of actors in that movie.
  • That could be a cool movie... I just checked imdb about it and saw that it was written and directed by Emilio Estevez.

  • Robert Kennedy has always been a real hero to me. I remember he was so vibrant and alive when I was growing up. I was too young to remember his brother's death; his occurred when I was 8, so unfortunately I remember it. I still believe he was our last chance.
  • My first political memory is of campaigning for Bobby Kennedy with my older sister. I was 7 years old and wore a Bobby for President hat.

His run for the presidency was wonderful -- peace, justice, fighting poverty. And he drew so many different people to him -- African-Americans, students, working people. I have a book of photographs of his funeral train, and you wouldn't believe all the different people who came out to pay their last respects.

It's funny -- Eddie's politics kind of remind me of Bobby's. Maybe that's why I love PJ so much.

  • I think only those of us that were young at that time really understand Bobby's quality. My husband is younger than me, and I'm constantly trying to explain that time to him. I remember waiting at the bus stop the morning we heard. Whenever I go by that corner, the memory comes back. All the Kennedy crap that keeps coming out cannot tarnish Bobby for me.
