Why can't people just chill the fuck out?

    Actually, I don't watch the news much, it freaks me out too much.

    Coming through the Easter break, traditionally here in Oz, people go beserk, teh cities empty in a mad lemming like rush to campgrounds all over the country, and way too many people get killed or injured in raod carnage. Every year I stay home and lock the gates and think, why can't people just chill the fuck !!

    What news? The news barely exists anymore on TV. It's slowly being replaced by entertainment. When the top headlines for days are about Britney Spears' shaved head or who is Anna Nicole's baby's daddy actual news has taken a back seat. I say turn off the TV and pick up a newspaper. That's the only place where true reporting of the news exists.

    i think that to myself 90% of my day, not just when im watching the news. we're all in such a fucking hurry to go nowhere and do something meaningless. our lives revolve around deadlines set by other people.

    I agree with soulsinging. People need to learn how to chill out. I see people getting upset because of the most stupid reasons.

    Yes.....I also wonder how most of the news people actually got through school and hired....the easy answer is their looks. :rolleyes:

    Watching the news annoys me. I prefer to read about news on the internet.

    funny stuff right there. seriously though, i agree with the original post. the world would be a better place if everybody would just drink some beer, watch some porn and relax a little bit. problem is, some people want too much power, and some groups are filled with too much hatred. one of our problems as a society is wrongly thinking that other people want peace and happiness like we do.
