it was one of the better games i've been to and it sucks to lose, but at least it was a good game and we put up a fight,... kelly should have caught that last pass and clemson would have been going to jacksonville,...

but seriously, why the fuck can't i RETURN a keg on sunday? that is the stupidest shit i have ever heard of,... fucking blue laws

Here, we can't serve alcohol until after 1pm. Makes no fucking sense. I think it was a stupid law created to appease the religionists who called for the outright ban of alcohol sales on sunday.

    where were your seats?

I was upper deck south for the first half, then i moved to the hill for the second half

and btw, how many fucking times can mark buckholtz fuck up before he gets replaced? seriously, this guy pretty much cost us the game at GT, and then again last night (the last attempt was a stretch, but he should have made the first one for fuck's sake)

and on a related note, I was trying to buy something from that convenience store across from rigg's field at 11:50. It was a mad house. There had to be at least 30 people outside trying to buy beer before midnight, while the owner was guarding the door, only letting one person in at a time as another person left

I feel your pain on the booze front. It wasn't until just a couple of years ago that we could buy on Sundays.

most of the bigger cities here in good old south carolina allow people the choice to drink a 'spirited' beverage on sunday

    not clemson though,...

and i still don't understand why i can't return an empty keg on sunday,... would God really be mad at me for trying to be responsible and get my deposit back?

we can't buy anything other than groceries before 1pm on sunday here, btw,... and no alcohol whatsoever,...

i sat upper deck north about halfway up and 30 yard line west endzone side. i didn't feel like waiting in line early monday morning for good seats,... it was just too cold.

as for the kicker,... he plays two sports & he has classes. it makes sense that he could be so on (like last week) and so off against BC,... plus, we should have had better play calls when BC was blitzing when we got close to the redzone,... i think our tight ends and running backs out of the backfield weren't utilized on the blitz. you can't leave the game to a kicker from 54 yards in college football.

and yeah,... i remember trying to get some booze from that store once late saturday night and it was the same story. those damn blue laws cause so much havoc,...

    .

yes, i realize that 54 yards is a long shot. but it's not like he hasn't missed plenty of shorter ones this season. and as for playing two sports... he needs to make a commitment. playing two division one sports in the same season is ridiculous.

that is just as much a poor coaching decision as it is for the kicker sucking. i know i wanted to run cross country during football season, but my coaches wouldn't let me (this was just high school). i had to choose one or the other.

in your defense, of course im pissed that he missed. he has missed way too many field goals this season (especially the g-tech game). he is almost as bad as aaron hunt. the last good kicker we had was chris gardocki. if jad dean would have made that kick against carolina, shit would be different for him. it really sucks being a kicker. you are loved for a minute if you make a winning kick and hated for every kick that you miss.

This may be a dumb question, but if the beer store can't sell beer on Sunday why would they be open only for returns?

Bi-lo isn't soley a beer store. It's grocery store I think pretty much located only in SC. Maybe in NC. Hope that helps?

That’s cool, look on the bright side, at least you can buy beer in a grocery store in SC. In Ontario you can only buy beer in government run liquor stores or The Beer stores (which aren't run by the government but by a company that essentially has a government sanctioned monopoly on beer sales). Kegs are a special order item that can only be sold at distribution centers. Plus beer prices in Canada are typically 2 or more times what they are in the US.
