After I read this I thought about when I was in college (graduated in 1997) and how great it would have been to have access to the internet we know today. I just 'googled' your statement "compare and contrast Louis XIV, Napolean, and Hitler" and found a few articles that might be pertinent to your paper. Also, unless you find a history buff here, searching forums that pertain to history might be helpful. Good luck. I know you'll do great!

i've done the searches, and i've read the text. i've taken notes and i've got the basics, but yeah,... im looking for a history buff who might can give me some insight on something unfamiliar that might catch my professors attention. anyhow, i see a lot of people read, but did not post,... i guess it should be expected.

I would help, I got a perfect score on my final exam for western civ in high school but that was 10 years ago...it all got kinda fuzzy over the years in the place of newer interests. Sorry. :(

If your prof gives you the questions to the final before you take it, you don't need any help!
I'm sure the ones who have read your post (me included) just aren't knowledgable enough on the subject offer any insight. It seems like there is a poster here that is schooled in history. I just can't remember his/her user name! I would definitely look into some forums on the matter. I visit science forums frequently and have found new angles on various subjects that have previously eluded me.

I was thinking the same thing. I got my college credit for western civ in high school and that was over 15 years ago!
