Time to rip the power carpet from under Bush's feet

The election is next month. Although it's not the Presidential election there is a chance for the Democrats to take over the House and/or Senate.

The past six years have shown us why one particular party should not control all branches of government - the White House, Senate and House of Representatives - as there are no checks and balances and it leads to abuse of power, corruption and bad decisions, which have left our country dangerously divided.

By handing the Senate or the House to the Democrats it will force the parties to work together and find common ground. Bush will immediately become a lame duck President.

  • A change in power with any 2 termer usually occurs. So naturally, I'm expecting alot of victories by the dems.
  • As long as people are going to pay more attention to whether some motherfucker has a D or a R next to his name, not a motherfucking thing is going to be done. Nothing seems to sway some people away from voting down the line at all. No matter how many fucking scandals. No matter how many fucking mistakes. No matter how many fucking lies.

I think that the Demoncrats timed their scandal's a bit early. in 3 more weeks, no one will remember half of the crap that has been exposed about the Republicons over the last few years...and there have been some doozies.

Tom Delay is still among the worst IMO. What he did to Texas alone is worthy of lynching.
