    How f'n weak is this. Do Americans really need more encouragement to think they're that great. I get what Time means by this, but I still think it's a stupid choice.

    Upon first reading of the article, I don't get the impression that it is *Americans* per se; rather its the individual, and collectively what individuals are doing to create, produce and communicate with other individuals, without filters and gatekeepers, in a more raw fashion, which is happening all over the world, though granted more so in the U.S.
