He came downstairs this morning and said:

"Meet the new me. Now with fifty percent more Hope!" :D

He told me he picked out a red shirt to be kind to the people who lost. :o

That is awesome!! Nothing like seeing history through your kids eyes.

My little girl is wearing her "My mama is for Obama" Shirt two days in a row. Or as she calls him "BAMA"

My son who's class voted for McCain yesterday is going to do a book report to explain why Obama is so great :D

That should be on a poster or something :)
"I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"

That is AWESOME!! I enjoyed watching all the NEWS yesterday with my oldest son (13). He was very interested in all of it and I think we learned a lot together last night. I was very excited about him being so excited.
My other son (9) went to vote with me. I showed him everything in the voting place and told him how important it is to vote and that when he turns 18 he will vote too. The workers behind the table all clapped when I told him that. My son turned a little red and skipped out of there. What a great day I had with my kids yesterday :) Good things to come for this country!!!

the unprecedented interest the youth has had in this election
is truly exciting and quite encouraging.

i actually saw my daughter, a first time voter, on CNN twice at the Obama rally in Grant Park last night.

educating children from the very beginning is so important....essential.

    good for us :)

awww....that's adorable :) And how nice that he wants to be kind...that's more than can be said for so many adults (just listen to all the boos from the folks at McCain's concession speech last night!)

My kids (6 and 11) both HAD to stay up last night to watch Obama's speech. They were both so excited! What a great day for America's children! :)
