Like Abortion, why not make Poverty illegal

Its sad and painful and expensive and it spreads.

If you don't earn $15,000 per year and have a positive net worth, and a credit score over 600 for two consecutive years... you go to jail where you will be provided a warm clean bed, food, and a job.

    I wouldn't mind making abortion illegal, though.

    Sadly, I think a lot of that already happens.

    Seriously, though. There's no correlation. People control much of their destiny with regard to poverty in the USA. In other countries, not as much.

    Everything not forbidden is compulsory and eveything not compulsory is forbidden. You are free... free to do what the government says you can do.

    I think it would be cheaper to perform euthanasia, and then process the raw material for fertilizer to feed the wealthy.

    Or just let the wealthy feed on the corpses if they don't prefer owning some as slaves.
