    Not to mention, that the true definition of a "liberal" is someone who is openminded. Conservatives are more openminded with a live and let live attitude than people on the left. In my opinion. Most people on the left feel that if you don't conform to their ideas you are the anti-christ and need to be destroyed. This is why I do not use the word "liberal" to describe them.

    for someone who claims to be openminded, you really have a blind view of defining the "left".

    if only all sides could have 'liberal' views of others' rights to have their own pov and live their lives accordingly. i take no issue with conservative or liberal thought, and everything inbetween. i just take issue when one tries to make their own pov have some control over my mind or body. live your life according to your beliefs and morals, and let all else do the same...even if they differ greatly from your own.
