and the liberals want to make America great

    Both "believing" and "wanting" are similar. Both of them put "America being great" in the future, pushing that reality away from us now. Both of them are passive and about faith and hope, rather than about being great.

    When people are making American great in the now, when people are acting great NOW, that is about being great.
