DC Poster got it at 8:55 Last night

I was able to score a wrist band like right before the band came on. am i just getting lucky with these, same thing happened to me at Camden I

    wow...i have never seen poster craziness like i did last night. lines were down and around the block to get into the venue at 630! that's surprising!

    a friend of mine told me it was tough last nite, but he got it... so far up till last nite, i dont think it has been that hard... i think they have been printing a lot more posters than in past years and the new bracelet system is really good.

    guys it was right near the Section 117 entrance, the really small merch booth. i asked them if they had any left and they actually said ya 5. so it worked out. got it. and its an awesome poster.

    the trick was to go to the 400 level. on the main level the lines were insane. take a walk upstairs and really no lines to speak of

    kudos to the guy at the booth outside sec 121 (I think) who turned down the asshole asking for 4 posters and said "I need to see 4 wrists" in return. the guy ended up getting 2, one himself and one to his acquaintance who was actually there. the guy trying to buy 4 was maybe 45, bald (looked like Costanza a bit-short, stocky, bald, glasses) and was wearing a blue collared shirt and slacks, like he just came from work.

    good to see that some of the people working are doing their best to stick to the one-per-person rule. its a madhouse, so you cant really blame them for wanting to sell them as fast as possible.

    i don't know where at but they let people in before they opened the doors on the f street entrance. i pounded on the door and started yelling, along with everyone else. we got there around 5 and stood there, pretty much because there was nothing else to do. i wish they would give u the option of taking the poster, but oh well.

    I waited in line outside from 6 p.m. and was lucky to get one at the main booth.

    My fiancee immediately went to another booth to avoid the long line. After a 20+ minute wait, she was at the table to make her order and they gave away THE LAST ONE to the person next to her. She was crushed. :(

    At least we can share one together. :)

    It was not as hard as I thought it was going to be but it was a cluster-fuck for sure...

    there were a lot of kids in line at the booth I was at so there was still people getting multiples.

    Shit I got one and my wife got one so I did the same think however I got one for another fan and he paid me cost........ $25 plus $7.50 for shipping :D

    Last night was the hardest show to get a poster. It was still easy to get a poster. I think this system sucks.

    i dunno i was just shocked that i was able to get one..i was like eh what they hay ill just give it a shot and sure enough she had 2 wristbands. she did say that people were offering them more for multiples

    Yeah, I was pretty pissed about that. When we started yelling the security people looked at us like they didn't know what was going on. Were you down at the entrance farthest to the left? Because I was about the sixth person standing in line down there. Tall, lanky fellow with a green plaid shirt on. We may have chatted.

    If any 1 could tell me how to go about trying to get a concert poster i would appreciate it. Whats up with the wristbands? thanks

    Say what! That was the one where I was in line at to get my shirt. They sold out of posters while I was in line. Half the crowd got out of line when the guy took the poster down. That was 7:15.

    1. Get in as soon as the doors open.
    2. Go to the first merchandise booth.
    3. IF that line so too long go to the next or get crafty and seek a harder to find vendor.
    4. Buy a poster, they will give you a wrist band after you give them $25. Ask where you need to pick it up.
    5. At the end of the show. Right after the last note. Walk briskly to the designate pick up and they will cut off your braclet and give you a poster.

    That is it.. bring a kitchen sized garbage bag just in case to protect your poster on the way back to the car... rubber bands help.

    Love the new system. The only thing better would be to be able to pre-buy the posters when you buy tickets. That would be 100% AWESOME
