To a group of conservative radio talk show hosts.

Damn.. isn't this freightening?.. giving these people credibility - when they speak daily without integrity or regard for facts..

damn..

How can I say this without sounding like an alarmist?

this is crazy.. we support misinformation.. yet pride ourselves on free speech.

the government may as well broadcast the news themselves.... facts are virtually unavailale.

  • Free to be mislead and lied to...ain't that the way it's supposed to be....
If you want to tell people the truth, make them laugh, otherwise they'll kill you.

The voters in this country get the majority of their opinions from radio and television.. and our respons to that is to polute the televison and radio to get elected.. rather than using this phenomenon to educate the public.

Education is not only not a priority - its a burdon to our politicians.

I necessarily have the passion for writing this, and you have the passion for condemning me; both of us are equally fools, equally the toys of destiny. Your nature is to do harm, mine is to love truth, and to make it public in spite of you. - Voltaire
  • You make this sound a lot more sinister then it is. I was listening to Michael Medved talk about this. It was five conservative talk show hosts, Medved, Hannity, Ingram, and two others I don't remember. It sounded to me like a group interview. Bush talked with them about Iraq, the elections and other issues.

Would you be all up in arms if a dem president had five air america radio hosts, if they were still viable and around, came in for an hour long interview/chat about our current state of affairs?

Trust me, I am not a Democrat. Yes I would be... I'm not suggesting there is anything necessarily sinister about what may or may not have been said.. but that the President of the United Stats is not endorsing conservative talk show hosts as a respectable source of information - worthy of policy discussions with the President himself on US policy.

You realize that means that these radio guys rank higher than congressman of the other political party - Imagine the list of allegedly important people that don't get that kind of respect... I can't decide where to start.

    Talk show hosts.

You'd think they'd keep it in private - and not in the white house - at least they could have it at some campain headquarters -

I am afraid this is sinister indeed.
