Withdrawal of troops from Iraq WILL be a devastating (sp)!

We killed their government and their military - they can not police terrorism and they can not defend themselves from invasions. We need a military presence to defend their borders and disrupt terrorist organizations from establishing camps and control.

Our Military should not be interfering in the civil war or any Iraqis trying to establish control - even if we don't agree with their politics or their religious beliefs.

Our President can not work with the Iraqis - he can not work with the neighboring countries. He can not make simple logical assessments of the situation.

Cutting funding or withdrawing troops is one option for stopping this ignorant president for making things even worse.

However, A great majority of humanity figures the president to be incompetant. He is making things more dangerous and complicated by the day. Because he is at war with the United States Congress and more than half of the American citizens..

he must be removed. By whatever means possible... if we are to begin moving forward.

We have to start with amnesty for the good people of Iraq that fought against the United States Invasion. They are not criminals. We need to lend legitimacy to the Nation of Iran and to Sadr. We need to open talks with all parties. Provide some security for them to work on a solution. We don't give the solution - we should be facilitators - provide the opportunity - and allow them to carve out the future.

George Bush can not do that - and he moves the possibility backwards every day.

What needs to happen in order for an impeachment, is a Watergate like expose' to happen. Catch Bush illegally in the act, with the cameras rolling. Now when is that going to happen?

All they have to do is subpeona him.. question him under oath. He will lie.. he is a liar. Then we have purgery.

When we have a president that has lost the trust and faith of the country - he needs to be removed. If we can't do that - our system is broken and needs to be fixed.

I think the better option is to wait it out, Do you really want a Dick Cheney presidency? What's the difference?

Well ok, lets say you impeach both of them, then we get a female black woman president the first of both, but I don't think you guys would like Condi Rice much either.

You're right. It's not just Bush, it's the whole cabinet that needs to be overthrown.

Oh I'd go farther than that, it would be nice to have citizens as politicians again that don't make a career out of gaining and retaining political power. So much for the protectorate national government in peace time and the majority of governance coming from the states. Yeah, there would be some with ridiculous policies, but we all would be a lot closer to effecting change in how we are governed and taxed. You can't really sneeze these days without federal involvement.

Although it does seem that way - they were serving the President of the United States. I believe you'd be suprized how these people may act on their own.

Dick Cheney was a fabulous Secretary of Defense when Iraq invaded Kuwait.

Actually, it would be Nancy Pelosi. The Speaker of the House ia third in line. Until we see attempts at bipartisanship within our government nothing will be solved.

How long do you think an Impeachment trial will take from start to finish? I would hazard a guess that it would take the greater part of a year...which puts us in 2008...roughly right against the next election (Bush can not run in 2008)...would the impeachment trial do anything for either party's candidates? Who's the devil you know? Cheney or Bush? Impeach them both? How long would that take? Would the impeachment mean removal from office? Has any president ever been removed from office through the impeachment process? No. Nixon was not impeached, he resigned. Would the impeachment process heal the rift in our body politic? Or would it make it worse? Real world questions.

I say impeach everyone, the president, vice president, and congress. Our government is broken and it's time we cleaned house and started from scratch.
