    Agreed,

This makes me think of Nixon.
"Well Bob, what do you think the president can do to restore faith in the office and get the American people behind him again?"

"He can't. Just fucking resign already."

    Seriously.
Not to be Debbie-Downer but "the fix" is nowhere to be found.

    :(
If I was to smile and I held out my hand
If I opened it now would you not understand?
  • The lifestyle is not sustainable. Everyone is in denial. As soon as people figure this out everything will start to improve (ever so slightly) perhaps no so slightly.

Perhaps a lot. Have to get to the bridge to cross it first. Regardless. unless a substitute for oil is found, or a gigantic new source is found to exploit (hmmm Iran)....some uncomfortable realities will set in.

Better Iranians die than a few US citizens be deprived I suppose .... :ouch!:
Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

it didn't disappear..... The owners just shopped around.

Americans priced themselves out of the market.

Same reason I don't go to starbucks to buy 4.00 coffee.

We did this to ourselves essentially.
