New York City Now Wants To Stop You From Using iPods, Cellphones and BlackBerrys

Even if you aren't listening to your iPod, NYC can be very noisy. Perhaps they will ban jackhammering, construction work and sirens where pedestrians are present. After all, those things can drown out the sound of oncoming traffic as well.
(this would be a stupid, stupid law)The only people we should try to get even with...
...are those who've helped us.
Right 'round the corner could be bigger than ourselves.0 -

They should ban people there too. They talk really loud on the sidewalk.0 -

I mean, what happened to a little common sense?!?! Or has it gotten to the point where people are that oblivious to their surroundings that laws need to start being put into place?Driving in my car, smoking a cigar. The only time I'm happy is when I play my guitar.

haha! I agree. I mean, if you can't walk around the city with some headphones on and still not be able to pay attention to your surroundings....I am not sure you should be able to leave your house! Be sure not to let them have any gum either while they are out walking around.Driving in my car, smoking a cigar. The only time I'm happy is when I play my guitar.

This has to be the dumbest fucking proposal I have ever seen. What next we can't talk while crossing the street because we may be distracted."When one gets in bed with government, one must expect the diseases it spreads." - Ron Paul0

New York City is at it again. Now they want to help you to live longer by curbing your use of iPods, cellphones and blackberrys. For those who applauded the trans fat ban you only encouraged them to take away more freedoms from us all.
God bless america and it's freedoms.Keep on rockin in the free world!!!!
The economy has polarized to the point where the wealthiest 10% now own 85% of the nation’s wealth. Never before have the bottom 90% been so highly indebted, so dependent on the wealthy.0
