"Erasure" of Canada by 2010

Some more "socialist" views of the so called North American Union. Interesting although i've never heard of that site before and it looks more like a blog. The article also talk about a book, anyway enjoy since the news about this subject are hard to find (seem like CNN did report on this, haven't heard).

My two cents about it, impossible, good luck to any "elites" who'd try to "erase" Quebec french culture, or to that matter to any "elites" who'd try to erase Canada, Mexico AND the USA. I don't believe it will happen, but it still interesting to see what's being written on this "Union".

U.S. Bush administration allies want Canada along with francophone Quebec "erased" by 2010

Canada's mass-media elites ignores U.S. neo-conservative expansionist goals

Compiled by Yves Lafontaine

The Council of Foreign Relations (CFR) which advises the U.S. Bush administration is calling for the "erasure" of Canada by 2010. Quebec as it exists today, in relation to its civil code, and other francophone cultural protections, is also to be "transformed" by 2010 under Anglo-American control. The Stephen Harper government reportedly further confirmed the terms of this "erasure" in Cancun, Mexico, under secondary provisions of the "Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America" (SPP). It is notable that neither "separatists" nor "federalists" in the current Quebec provincial elections have sought to debate the imminent destruction of the Quebec social and cultural fabric under an Anglo-American agenda.

Dr. Robert A. Pastor, a Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) task force Vice-Chair, is looking forward to the conquest of Canadian resources from oil to drinking water, and hydro power in Quebec, by U.S. Big Business interests linked to the U.S. Bush administration. Indeed, "All the while 'We the People' were largely 'left out of the loop' until CNN's Lou Dobbs exposed the CFR's plans," says Dr. Daneen G. Peterson. The goal of the sought "erasure" of Canada was formally announced by Mr. Pastor, who is the apparent chairperson of U.S. neo-conservatives efforts on North American Union (NAU). Indeed, Dr.. Pastor was actually recorded on video before U.S. Congressional related group, to be pursuing the "erasure" of Canada by 2010. Mr. Pastor envisions that with the "erasure" of Canada, along with the corresponding destruction of the U.S. and Mexico, a new "North America" will emerge, under the control of the "wise men" like himself, of a political-military-industrial complex.

Dr. Peterson further suggests, "Go to SPP.gov and see for yourself. Be sure to put on your propaganda filter before entering the website. Pay attention to how cleverly they clothe their treasonous acts with self-effacing, feel good words like "prosperity".' Be sure and ask yourself... 'prosperity' for WHOM? Definitely not those Americans [and Canadians] whose jobs and manufacturing has already disappeared? Be sure and ask yourself... 'security' for WHOM once they erase our borders and eliminate our sovereignty? Be sure and ask yourself... "partnership: with WHOM and by WHOM?" Thus far it is a partnership between Mr. Harper, Mr. Bush and a handful of political elites in Mexico, in collusion with businesses and the banking community. Neither with the American people, or Canadian and/or their duly elected representatives in the legislature.

The 'North American Competitiveness Council' is being constructed to replace Parliament in Canada and the U.S. Congress with an unaccountable "Shadow government" of elites

The objective of the 'North American Competitiveness Council (NACC) is to create ever increasing private sector engagement under the SPP by adding high-level business input will "assist" governments in enhancing North America's competitive position and engage the private sector as partners in finding solutions.

Meeting on June 15, 2006... the "U.S. Commerce Secretary Carlos Gutierrez, Mexican Economy Minister Sergio Garcia de Alba and Canadian Minister of Industry Maxime Bernier... met with "North American business leaders" to officially launch the North American Competitiveness Council (NACC). In March of 2006 Bush, Harper, and Fox, announced the creation of the NACC as a priority to their commitment to the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP). "The SPP is built on the North American Free Trade Agreement between the United States, Canada and Mexico (NAFTA) which entered into force on January 1, 1994."(77)

At the meeting Commerce Secretary Carlos Gutierrez stated that: "Today is a continuation of President Bush's strong commitment to our North American partners to focus on North America's security and prosperity... The private sector is the driving force behind innovation and growth, and the private sector's involvement in the SPP is key to enhancing North America's competitive position in global markets."

"The NACC is made up of high level business leaders from each country. Each country's council consists of ten members who will meet annually with the SPP Prosperity and Security Ministers to provide recommendations and priorities on promoting North American competitiveness globally. In addition, the governments of North America will work with the NACC to remove barriers in order to increase the competitiveness of North American firms in the global marketplace and spur economic growth."

Are you ready to roll over and give up YOUR sovereignty?

To understand what happens when you give up your sovereignty to become the NAU... you MUST watch The Real Face of the European Union. It is a SHOCKING video documentary from 2006 that features EU insiders and commentators. Independent author Phillip Day covers the history and goals of the European Union, as well as the disturbing, irrevocable implications this new government has for every British citizen. He says that sadly, the mainstream media has refused comment, because the British press, just like ours, is totally controlled by the One World Monopolists.

In his Foreign Affairs article titled "North America's Second Decade", in January/February 2004, Mr. Pastor stated that: "NAFTA was merely the first draft of an economic constitution for North America. It was a deliberately lean document, intended only to dismantle barriers to trade and investment. Its architects planned neither for its success nor for the crises that would confront it. Although NAFTA fuelled the train of continental integration, it did not provide conductors to guide it."

Dr. Peterson further indicates that if you have any doubts that the CFR has designs on destroying U.S. [and Canadian] sovereignty the following statement by Mr. Pastor in that same CFR Foreign Affairs' publication reveals that is their position: "Opponents of integration often attack such proposals as threats to national sovereignty. Sovereignty, however, is not a fixed concept. In the past, Canada used sovereignty to keep out U.S. oil companies, Mexico relied on it to bar international election monitors, and the United States invoked it as an excuse to privilege "states' rights" over human rights. In each case, sovereignty was used to defend "bad policies". Mr. Pastor and his NAU protagonists view bad policies as being those policies which do not support the greed driven objectives of elites associated with a political-military-industrial complex. Mr. Pastor says that, "Countries benefited when they changed these policies, and evidence suggests that North Americans [i.e., Mexicans, Americans and Canadians] are ready for a new relationship that renders this old definition of sovereignty obsolete."

Are you ready to surrender your sovereignty to the global monopolists, associated with the U.S. George W. Bush administration and the Stephen Harper government in Canada who want to erase America and Canada, along with Mexico?

Your last bit is pretty misleading here. This union idea pre-dates harper by quite a bit. I can't see Canada ever going for it. Our freetrade agreements give us much of the same trading advantages that the EU has without the complete loss of soveriegnty downside that they are experiencing with the EU pact.

I agree. This will never happen. At least not the way they are painting it in this article. I can picture something like a NAFTA v2.0, but that's it. And of course, I don't see Mexico ever being "integrated" into this community the same way the US and Canada would be. Mexico would be more like a 2nd class member (in a give-us-your-oil-and-keep-your-people-out kind of way) of this "union".

  • unfortunatley this is not something that the population will have a chance to vote on! Simarly to the EU simply being a trade agreement at the start, to now becoming a governing body with its own constitution, the same thing will happen will Canada, the U.S and Mexico.
