If you have a lounge in your dorm, you could have other stuff going on after the movie to make it more exciting. There's a stage in my lounge so if I win, I think I'm going to have an open mic afterward.. but to keep it informative, it would be songs/poetry with an activism theme. I'll probably serve a bunch of food and see if the Loyola Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians, and Green Party want to set up tables with info. There's pool tables, ping pong tables, and other games too. As long as you have other stuff, I think you could get a lot of people to go and hopefully get them excited about voting and Pearl Jam
Here's some pics of where I hope to have it-

Do you think by "being released digitally," it'll be a download? Because I already watched it on REM's site, and would like to have a DVD of it either homemade or official. I don't have enough friends to warrant a party.0

Sweet. I'll make my way over to the new thread."Underneath this smile lies everything - all my hopes, anger, pride and shame."0 -

Actually, this isn't just for people in TO....0 -
well, i submitted my entry...for my living room.
many of you have been here either just visiting, before/after pj shows or for the jammer garden party a few summers ago...:) hopefully it can happen! i figure anyone who needs to make the trip from NYC, easy! we can all meet up at penn station and take my local train home together. easily walk to/from the dreamn home to catch the train back, and for local islanders...an easy drive. it would be great to gather together many of the usual NYC area jammers for a viewing. with such short notice, i figured our 52" TV and surround system would suffice, and hopefully we can make it happen! if my entry does get chosen, be on the look-out for email invites!
***btw
i got about 5 delivery failures, went to the 10c site...here's the CORRECT address to enter:
contest@tenclub.net
there is NO "s"...as in "contestS" as originally posted by ruby'sdad, thus why all the failure notices. good luck all!Stay with me...
Let's just breathe...
I am myself like you somehow0 -
