Donald Trump supports McCain

Trump was just on CNN talking about how bad Bush is and how this country is in such a bad state because of him, then he say's that he supports Mccain because McCains demeanor is different and Palin would make a good President (if she had to) because she can make an impact.
---
wtf?

I don't know why, but I just figured he would have more sense. I mean really.... McCain? Then again only an idiot would keep that haircut or whatever it is.
---

On another note, Trump is building some 60-storie Condo/hotel thing right next to where I live here in Toronto. That other thing in Dubai.

So maybe he does have some idea how things work, seems to be doing well, what would get someone kinda smart to vote for Mccain? Oh yeah...a demeanor different to Bush.

Yeah, but the real question is: Who does Trump's hairpiece support? That thing seems to have a life of its own. It must have some opinions :)

Donald has as much right to express who he supports as Eddie Vedder does.

It is a fact that the higher an education you have the more likely you are to vote Republican.

I'm interested where this fact, assuming it is true, was found. (Not to sound confrontational or anything, I'm actually curious about this type of study...)

One of the most common things I hear about higher education in America, or at least one of the most common cliches, is that of the liberal professor--you know, patches on the coat, beat up brief case, beard, that whole get-up.

So, it would seems kind of counter-intuitive, but by no means impossible. It could just be that the more liberal leaning PhD candidates become professors or something like that.

I've seen it in numerous places, I'm sure you can google it and find one of them. It has nothing to do with being an elitist as this other guy says, poor people tend to vote Democrat because of the social services. Those who have a higher education generally have better jobs and vote for who won't tax them as much. It is not true 100% of the time but the breakdown is obvious from the studies that I have seen.

I guess it depends on what you google. Everyone has an opinion ;)

In addition to the CNN poll posted, I came across an article in The New Republic that also indicated more voters with college degrees were leaning toward the Democratic ticket.

Not exactly one hundred percent relevant to what you're suggesting--after all, I can't imagine every election those with degrees or higher education degrees have always voted for just one party. It just seems that the trend for this election is toward the Democrats. So, over time, it may bare itself out that those with higher degrees voted one way more often than the other.

Of course, as far as the wealthy tending to vote Republican, I could see it swinging that way--but it's not necessarily a function of their degree, I don't presume. So I guess it seems better to suggest that the more educated you are the more likely you are to vote republican as opposed to the higher your income, the more likely you are to vote in favor of your own interests. Better to associate with college elites than businessmen--you know, given the current state of the economy.

I don't know, it's an interesting thought. Not saying you were being completely disingenuous in your original statement, looking at different ways it could be construed.

    I can't say I'm at all suprised.

Donald Trump is a total waterhead. He's got no soul. That prick would sell out his own mother if it meant he could make a quick buck.

He's a perfect fit for the Republican Party. He eats at the same swine table that feeds the likes of Bush, Cheney, McCain, and Palin.

    Fuck em' all

They can all eat a peach.
