BEIRUT, Lebanon, July 30 — The Lebanese government asked Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice on Sunday to put off a visit to Lebanon after an Israeli airstrike that killed more than 50 people.
Lebanon said it would only consider an immediate cease-fire to the Israeli-Hezbollah fighting.
