    I think the dad should take the cash and go on vacation while leaving the kid at home with grandparents or someone non-fun. We need more parents like this who will show their kids the consequences of wrong choices. Go Dad!

    yeah, cos that kid wouldn't get high as a kite while the parents are out sunning themselves and the house is empty :rolleyes:

    Doubt it, because I bet this type of dad would make sure he was not left unattended for even a moment. :)

    Furthermore, if the kid thinks sitting home alone in an empty house getting "high as a kite" is more fun than a vacation with family, well then he deserves to head down that road. Maybe everyone will get lucky and he will waste himself into oblivion and eventual death. One less undeserving person taking up oxygen.

    Good for dad.

    Not because pot is the end of the world, or anything awful... but too often you see entitled kids showing no respect to their parents, and their parents never following through with any meaningful type of punishment. The father picked a non abusive type of punishment, for a child that essentially broke the rules.

    Its like the simpsons episode where homer wouldnt let bart see the Itchy and Scratchy movie.

    However, i bet the bid is fake at 9K
