if you mean we can now pry it from his cold dead hand then it was well played....i wonder if he will be buried with a gun...you know, to protect him from the spirits of bad guys in whatever afterlife he imagined.....

other than that i have nothing to say about the man. i never liked him or what he represented, especially after seeing bowling for columbine with the gun rally so close to the columbine shooting and all....its ironic that all of those guns can't protect him from the reaper....oh well, in my opinion one less gun nut can't be such a terrible thing.....

why is it ironic that guns couldn't protect him from death by old age with alzheimers??? It would have been ironic if he would have been killed using a gun in self defense.

Yeah, I'm no gun fan but who the heck thinks guns will help them live forever or dodge illnesses?
If you want to tell people the truth, make them laugh, otherwise they'll kill you.

That was my first thought when I saw this news.
  • at least now he doesnt have to live to see the apes take over. i envy the dead.
  • Are they burying him with a loaded gun?

I wonder how many guns and/or artillery bunkers will have to be unloaded around his property now?
Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

While I wasn't crazy about his politics late in life, before that he was very active fighting for civil rights, and has been politically active for a good bit of his life.

His views changed to a point where I couldn't agree with him, but I give him credit for being an "celebrity" activist well before it was fashionable to do so, and standing up for what he believed in.
