i heard that last night and immediately thought that someone was coaching romney. microphone malfunction.. right. but who's microphone?

it seems like the debate last night was fixed to make mitt look like the winner. he had the most time to speak, as well a little help coming from an unknown source.

this whole election thing is rigged, i tells ya.

I hate to say it, but I think the Clintons are going to take it. Makes me want to puke.

Can someone give me a reasonable explanation why these candidates are wearing earpieces to begin with? It seems to just invite cheating. Ask Bushy. This reminds of the dumb asses in high school that would cheat on every exam because they were too lazy and stupid to take the test on their own.

as the article says, I'm calling shenanigans.
  • hmm.. whatever you think about the guy, you have to give him more credit than that. obviously romney knew what the moderator was talking about. even if you dont like him, you're blowing things way out of proportion to suggest that there would even be a possibitly that he wouldnt know what reagan did in 1983. you could babble on about how evil or incompetent he is if you must, but he's not stupid.

use your brains people.. dont base your opinions on ridiculously biased articles. that's just pathetic.

it's quite clear that the mysterious voice was for the moderator, to specify things for at least the audience. most people, especially people who werent alive or old enough in 1983, arent going to have any idea what the question was about, making it a pretty ridiculous question if it hadnt been elaborated. that's why the moderator elaborates right after romney says he wont raise taxes...

you guys and your conspiracy theories.

    What conspiracy theories?
  • Oh man it's all staged

These freaks don't know a damn thing...

    ahhhh run away...

get out while you still can!

    hehe

    seriously though that's screwed up...

    Mittwitt....

  • it's incredibly obvious nobody was feeding that line to him. i dont know.. maybe the candidates are coached.. whatever.. but that wasnt it. some people just need to think every now and then. just think about it. read what i posted. it's straight of out the textbook for common sense 101. it's the first chapter.

    it is?

Hey, I don't care one way or another, but if it were as you say, wouldn't Tim Russert (the moderator) be piping up now to clarify?
  • according to that BS article, MSNBC already said something.

besides, what is there to clarify? first if all it's very clear to begin with. second of all, why should russert personally "pipe up" to put a few people on the internets' minds at ease? they probably like thinking romney was getting notes anyway. it would make him look bad.

I meant that Russert could say "I was the voice that said 'he raised taxes' " because that has not been clarified. NBC has said there was a problem with his mic.

Seriously, I couldn't care less about this, I'm just thinking out loud.

    Shenanigans, I tell ya. :p

When the president looks like a gameshow host in a tacky suit, it's not exactly excellent from a global perspective.

If only having a chimp was in style, this argument would be moot...

i doubt that suit is going to change the president's image from a global perspective. this isnt fashion show. it's not like the guy was wearing a nudie suit. this discussion is worthless.

Oh I bet a lot of people vote 95% superficially. In fact I can guarantee they do, if the primaries are any indication thus far.

edit: those words "humble foreign policy" keep echoing in my ears. ;)

Ha! (in a Chris Mattews mannar)

When I think of Ron Paul speaking all I can think of is Jim Moras postgame rant while he was the head coach of the Colts.

    "Playoffs?!?!?! Playoffs?!?!"

    It seems almost identical.

Whats so funny about a humble foreign policy? It was the idea George Bush campaigned on in 2000. No nation building.
  • I was just saying... humble foreign suit policy.

The last thing the US needs is a mellower darker haired version of Rod Roddy from the price is right.

Actually like the brain just fell out of my head funny. Mostly because it's absolutely true.

That's exactly what he campaigned on....then no more than 28 days later (edit: after getting elected) he made the decision to drop bombs in Iraq....before 9/11.

It hopelessly boggles the mind, until it is truly understood. Then it all it's just gets really dark and creepy.
