I will start off that I have never been a big fan of George Stephanopoulos, but last night was an absolute disgrace. It's clear that the guy is a Clinton hack and ABC has been the network behind the Rev. Wright story that won't die, and now he's getting questions for the debate from Sean Hannity?

Once again the Clinton campaign shows they care more for themselves than they do for the Democratic party.

Yeah, the Democratic party must really be dead after sweeping the country in 2006 and with every poll having either candidate beating McCain. D

Zogby had both losing to McCain.

McCain will easily beat hilary if she nominated. and the obama race is tight vs mccain but this constant bullshit among the dems is going to drive independents towards a very moderate republican.

The problem with those polls now, is that McCain is the nominee, and Clinton and Obama are still fighting over it. While there are people who support either dem candidate that will never vote for the other, the vast majority of democratic voters (some, after a cooling off period) will still vote democrat in the general election.

Now if McCain is still polling ahead of the democratic nominee a month after it's clearly decided, then that might be cause for concern.

I wouldnt be so sure of that. the hatred and dedication to each other these candidates (hilary, obama) is running deeper the longer this drags out.

Yeah. General election polls are seriously premature.

If Hillary really wants to have a future in leadership with the Senate, she will have to bring her people back to the Democratic party and campaign hard for Obama.

Granted, this battle has been more drawn out then most, but with just about every other primary there is bad blood, and things said... i just think it's like most issues, the vocal minority shows up, and most democrats will eventually back whoever the nominee is (as long as the loser put his/her support behind the winner).
