    Some are pretty surprising :
    Israel : 545 votes, 64.4% Obama / 35.6% McCain
    Palestine :
    53 votes, 92.5% Obama / 7.5% McCain
    Venezuela :
    785 votes, 54.5% Obama / 45.5% McCain
    Iraq : 13 votes.

What's up here with the world they seem to be decidedly for Obama. Is McCain thought of as the same as GW Bush?

    a) most of the world would not vote republican in general regardless of who's their leader and recent history

    b) combine recent history, a frail and confused looking mccain, a twit of a vp and for sure the world is gonna lean obama

pretty much... although McCain seems smarter than JWB to us over here in the UK... mind you, there are road crash victims operating on 11% of their normal brain capacity who are smarter than JWB.
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

I'd like to know how familiar all these people are with Obama's and McCain's policies.
    THANK YOU, LOSTDAWG!

I don't think policies matter much it's more about their perceptions of both men.

... and of their VP choices ... I've seen politicians in this country who you would think would naturally lean Republican say there is no way they can support them solely because of the choice of Palin ... she is seen to be totally unqualified as a potential president ... especially in respect of international matters.

I will say that I and my friends are following the election closely and discussing it a lot.
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

Most of the world isn't as stupid as Americans. The Gop would be nothing but a fringe party in all other first world nations. We are a joke world wide.

I'd like to know how many Americans are familiar with the candidates policies, all I keep hearing about in the media are accusations about terrorist associations and Joe the Plumbers....
