Has anyone used Mastercard Gift card to by tix

I lost my credit card and I'm going to try using one of these. Has anyone used one in the past? I emailed 10C but don't know if they will back to me in time. The add says you can use it anywhere MC is accepted but I don't want to have those tix in my cart and the get declined

it probably wont work..it is not a cedit card..no security code or anything... if it is your only option then might as well try though..

As long as it has a 16-digit number and a 4-digit expiration date, I don't see how 10 Club would know the difference. Nor do I think they would care.

What you need to do is find the online website where you can manage your account. Then you need to "register" the card. Basically that means you enter your name and billing address. The reason this is important is that while you can use these types of cards at pretty much any physical location (grocery store, movie theatre, etc) WITHOUT registering the card....MANY online retailers will reject the transaction if a billing address is not associated with the card. So figure out who the issuing bank is for your prepaid mastercard (wells fargo, bank of canada, etc.) and you should be able to find the proper website (either use google or call the issuing bank) and you should be able to figure out where to go to register your card. IN FACT, it might even say right on the card or in the paperwork that came with your card. I always forget the easiest options.....Anyway, hope that helps....get your card registered ASAP or you may be SOL when you try to use it. Or, it might work without registering the card....but I wouldn't want to risk it.

Thanks...It's from Money Mart so I called them and they said that as soon as I get the card it is registered to my address and you can order online right away. Off I go
