Got a question about the floor seats I had at MSG

So I picked up my 10c tix at MSG (both nights) and they were on the floor. I wasn't too happy about it cuz I’m short and they were far back. But when we got to them they were actual bleachers on the floor so it was great because they where elevated. Is this how it is for all shows. I was really surprised that I got floor seats cuz of my number but they were great seats

I had floor seats in DC... members with much lower numbers had worse seats than I did. But to answer your question, the way back of the floor in DC was raised. My section was not.

I was sec 9 also... row h first night and row j night 2 which I though was strange cuz I would think the night 2 would have less 10c people there but then again it is MSG. I've never had floor. Always side

I'm not saying this is fact, but they may have given lower TC numbers to the side of stage, and then started back on the floor again. Meaning they may fill the first 3/4 of the floor, then fill the side, and then fill the floor again.

Ya ..I was kinda thinking the same thing since this was the first time I got floor at a PJ concert that usually has the most 10C people attending.

    You are correct.

I'm 275xxx and i was in section 48, row A, which IMO are much better seats than anything on the floor past the first 4 sections.

My guess....they went first 4 sections first, then side stage right towards the back, then back onto the floor.

So new question then. Any folks who usually get like 25-30 rows back and got the side at MSG? What is better?

i personally liked floor better than side stage because i got center stage and usually have to tilt a lot to be able to see which gets really annoying and bruisy. i know you asked about people who usually get floor and got switched to side stage, but, meh, same difference.

My number is 204xxx. I was in section 6...and yeah...being a short girl...I didn't see anything nothing at all. The only time I saw the band is if all the heads and backs in front of me might have swayed in one direction at the same time.

But yeah, I made the best of it...danced my ass off all night.

I am usually 12 - 18 rows back, but at MSG I was halfcourt on the side. I would prefer the side of the stage for sight lines only. I like being on the floor because there is usually more movement in the crowd.

    180xxx both nights sec 65..Stone side...Loved show..Disliked seats...

i would have gladly taken what you were given over what they gave me. 232xxx-sec. 7 and sec. 8, row r. luckily, i was able to trade for seats off the floor, otherwise those shows would have sucked for me and my friend. we're short people.

Second night I was in Section 11 on the floor and they were great seats as they were also elevated so I could see everything and the sound was awesome.

I had the last row in section 11 for night 1 and it was pretty sweet. I was a bit disappointed when I first picked up the tickets but the seats were great. And I gotta agree the floor is great cause there is a lot more movement and the people seem really into it. The second night I didnt get lucky with 10c tickets so I ended up in section 309 and the crowd in that section was so dead. So yeah completely off topic but meh :p

They must go floor then sides then back to floor. 172xxx and we were on Mikes side first night sec. 60, then night two Stones side section 70. Happy as hell not on the floor, I wouldn't be able to see unless we were the first row in 2nd section.
Got floor seats NJ1 and saw nada all night. Night 2 we were up on the side, much better for me.
Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!
