it seems like all obama and the democrats would have to do to win would point out how we had a record surplus and now we have a record deficit, they could easily point to all the PROVEN fraun and abuse in Iraq w/ the contracts (like Halliburton double billing, charging for workers they never had, feeding the troops spoiled meat and contaminated water...) and then point out that even AFTER this was proven they received bonuses!!!

then they could point to the several millions that just disappeared in iraq, they can point to the $2.3 TRILLION that is unaccounted for in the defense budget...

there are so many examples they can use to show how we've been looted while they cry things like universal health care would cost too much

yeah, but there's money for a bridge to nowhere (what'd palin do w/ the cash?)

but Obama and (most) demds won't say a fucking word, i mean they can't squeal on their own racket, can they? they will bring up that it was 'better' under a democrat but will they give examples and actually try to stop it? they haven't yet.

but hey, here's to hope!

standin above the crowd
he had a voice that was strong and loud and
i swallowed his facade cos i'm so
eager to identify with
someone above the crowd
someone who seemed to feel the same
someone prepared to lead the way

  • This is terrible to say, but I just don't think that anyone would care.

The entire Iraq war is such a disaster that most people have either accepted that, and no matter what other bad news they are told it won't make a difference. And then there are those people who refuse to believe that it was a bad idea, and that it has gone badly.

That's not glitzy enough, tawdry enough and reality TV enough for most Americans.

They'd rather argue about blow jobs, sexual lives, lapel pins, the Pledge of Allegiance, Muslim/Not Muslim, religious loyalties, Michelle's cup size, Sarah's ass and who's the baby daddy; than address real issues.
  • If it were that easy wouldn't Al Gore have been elected by saying that he was exactly like Bill Clinton except without the intern-sex?

    He was elected.

But he was never appointed president OF The United States Of America.

George W. Bush Jr. was appointed.
