    oh dude! that was funny,
  • That was sad mostly because it how so many really see things. They don't even grasp how ridiculous it is to think so simply.
If you want to tell people the truth, make them laugh, otherwise they'll kill you.

Something that you may find intersting is that some of those movies were funded by israeli companies, such as "delta force" with chuck norris.

propaganda films is what they are.

  • That was awful, the title itself is so offensive, I get that it is trying to make a point and it is meant to expose those who are prejudiced. My niece walked in while I was watching it and I paused it, not only because of the violence, because also I don't think she would understand and I don't want her exposed to that level of hate. As an adult its getting to me, I hate having to defend who I am and what I believe in on a daily basis. It sort of sucks to be reminded constantly that you're hated. Films, television shows, news outlets, message boards, etc. perpetuate these false images and I guess it is just a good reminder not to be complacent and be more active.

the girl who made it is Palestinian/Syrian-American...here's her site

and a brief bio of her

    ABOUT THE ARTIST
Jacqueline Salloum, a Palestinian/Syrian-American artist based in New York, has exhibited widely both nationally and internationally. By employing the language of pop culture on politically intractable issues, her work achieves a rare balance of accessibility and poignancy that allows it to be both embraced and understood by diverse audiences. Salloum's politically charged art and video has been solicited by a broad range of art curators as well as political educators. Her most recent work focuses on challenging the stereotypes of Arabs in film and media in the form of video, collage, toys and gumball machines.

Look guys, of course it's ridiculous to think of it as being that simple, but you have to admit that there is SOME truth in it... :)
(The Christians) and Muslims are atm the most violent beliefs around.

Still, if you don't agree : look at it as idiotsspreading their ignorance for more idiots to follow them and the more intelligent ones to contradict what they believe

I thought it was put together rather well, infact I'm gonna send it to some of my friends, I enjoyed the clip and I understand the point of it.

No problem, what gets to me is that this can be made, that there are a lot more clips that can be used, added in, that it is not hard to find blatant stereotypes and misinformation. I am not sure if I am explaining what I mean correctly.
  • i read the thread title on the main page and said "That's gotta be El_Kabong's work" :p

Of course! It's very sad, I only enjoyed the clip because I find it funny that these types of movies are made in the first place and how some people who watch them probably thinks that arabs all act like that or whatever.

I also pointed out that some of those films were funded by israeli companies and/or had connections to israel.

Just as I was beginning to have some respect for the message that clip was trying send, I couldn't help but be disappointed at how some of that is really taken out of context. But wutevah.

Hah, after the comments on this thread I was prepared to whitness real beheadings, or guys drilling nails through their balls again. It turned out to be a good compilation of various hollywood propaganda.

    Thanks for the post :)

    I’d thank my lucky stars,
    to be livin here today.
‘Cause the flag still stands for freedom,
and they can’t take that away.

And I’m proud to be an American,
where at least I know I’m free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
