Reccomend me some music!

venmosvenmos Posts: 29
edited June 2008 in The Porch
I'm currently in the midst of my finals and I like to listen to relaxed music whilst revising. I'm looking for acoustic stuff, very light and chilled, a lot like the song 'Guaranteed' off Ed's solo album.

Any suggestions would be great!

Awesome guys, been checking out some of the stuff suggested and its all great.

I just remembered the name of the guy from the Sony Bravia advert with all the bouncy balls; Jose Gonzales. His stuff is amazing, very calm and some great guitar playing. If you havent heard any of his stuff, definitely check him out, particularly the album Veneer.

    oh, oh!!! love the national!!!

But, I would also suggest beck- "sea change", Beirut- "the flying club cup", and Fields - "everything last winter".

    Good luck studying.

If you go Beck, Mutations is better than Sea Change.

You need to get John Doe's last two albums -- they're excellent. I think the Shins would also be a good choice.

When you're finished chillin, and ready to rev it up...try Grinderman on for size. It'll knock your socks off...
