the price of gasoline is ridiculous...but, compare that price to 10 bucks/gallon for bottled water...anyway...there is a better way...overdrive technology was not released to the public for YEARS AND YEARS after it was discovered to be feasible...so, where are our NON OIL VEHICLES?

  • yeah it's getting sick...It's almost like playing the stock market now. I count on it going up every weekend....so I full up wid week.

    long weekends?.....forget about it.

6 different gas stations up my street....all at the same price tonight.. I've never seen that before....not even a 1/10th of a cent difference.

    scam...

That sounds cheap compared to the $3.05 I paid today in Albany. A couple of weeks ago when the prices started to surge, the station by our house went up $0.13 in 24 hours... $2.96 one morning, $3.06 on the way home and then $3.09 on the way to work the next morning. And I'm pretty sure that the gas in the tanks underground didn't change, or what they paid for it.

Why would you charge more than the gas station next to you? That's why they are all the same.

uhm....they're not all the same. And it's never been that way before ...not in my neighborhood...that's what I was saying....

    not that I don't understand.....

If that was the case why wouldn't everyone just check gasbuddy and set accordingly....

I just filled my truck up today and it was $1.18 / L (which is around 4.46 / gal for you states-folks). I'd kill my own mother to pay $.74/L ($2.90 / gal) again.

The cheapest I've seen it in Chicago is $3.31. Alot of stations, expecially in the city are as high as $3.80. I would consider anything under $3 a hell of a deal.

Yeah, that is about what we are now. My darn car also decided it only wants premium. If i put in the regular priced stuff, my "get engine served" lights goes on. Its cuz the cheaper stuff has too much water in it. So, I am paying about $3.38 or higher. It goes up every day here
I am so sticker shocked. They could probably price it $5.29 and I'd buy it.
I cannot believe I am paying what I am for gas! I remember it once was .22 cents a gallon. Yep, I am that old, but damn, not that old for it to have risen so high.
Is there no end in sight? How far are they gonna go???
    Someone please help us all.
We have no mass transit here, yet ned cars to go any place.

I'm praying for $4 gas right now! It's the only way America will remove it's collective head from the rectal configuration and change its driving habits.

Pain is the greatest motivating force in the Universe. And $4 gas might just be painful enough to get something accomplished.
