Read an interesting article in todays Greenville News (but i can't find the story on their website, page 7a if anyone is local) about the food shortage crisis and how large swaths of central and western asia and africa are running out of water. It had quotes from UNESCO's report...their summary? "farmers worldwide ust reduce dependency on fossil fuels and better protect the environment."
sad to think there are countries w/ riots over food and soon to be water probably while we live in a country that throws more food away than they could probably eat over there

standin above the crowd
he had a voice that was strong and loud and
i swallowed his facade cos i'm so
eager to identify with
someone above the crowd
someone who seemed to feel the same
someone prepared to lead the way
