I NEVER post here. Partly because i'm scared. But i read this and thought it was cool. It seems there are some people out there who care.

    Strange that there's no actual mention of what is specifically being done with that money. But hey, it's his money. Rock on...

    I sometimes feel like i wanna take part and put my two cents in. But most of it has already been said by everyone on here! It'd be nothing new, and i think i'm too dumb to take part regularly lol.

    that seems like a good idea Brason has. It would be interesting to see how the US and world would be if those with much means turned around and put more money to use rather than to another room in another house they'll never use. I hope they could use that money to help with alternative fuel sources and / or making cars even more efficient and helping to replace scrubbers on some of the biggest polluting plants.

    Statistically, the average temperature of our planet has dropped since we started keeping records. A book I read. What is happening is the temperature volatility is increasing -- meaning temperature swings in given months and years is growing wider. For instance, we're reaching higher temperatures in January than ever before, but we're also having lower temperatures in January than ever before. Goes for all months. When you look at it graphically, its like looking at a stock chart with long term price decline. We're averaging down...

    Branson is using the money to venture into new ideas about fuel and power resources that arent reliant on fossil fuels, etc.. i think he's a genuine type of bloke... i trust any businessman who doesnt where a tie and has a genuine interest in music... except Mick Hucknall, he still makes me want to stab him in the face with the pointy end of my guitar

    someone will no doubt think its some form of self-promotion, but its still good promotion for a good cause!
    oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

    Nothing like a pick-me-up from a friend, lol! But i agree, he does seem like a down to earth kinda guy. And its gotta be applauded that he's at least showing some awareness and willingness to make a difference. I think it's the apathetic attitude of politicians when it comes to global warming that bothers me most. Let's hope it can change.
