Going to see Obama...

I was lucky enough to snag two tickets to see Obama speak at UNC-Wilmington...

It should be fun....

    I saw him at ECU about 1-2 weeks ago. It was a good experience. Hope you enjoy it.

    well, I just got back...

    Overall, it was pretty impressive...the demographic was, as my girlfriend put it, 50% of everything...men, women, young, old, black, white...

    I can say this, the man can work a crowd....

    i saw him some weeks ago in portland with over 12,000 other people. it was pretty amazing to see how excited and positive people were. and it felt like a huge rock show. everyone was beaming afterwards. even the snarky weeklies wrote good reviews. it's interesting to watch a movement grow. i saw him in the fall here and it wasn't quite like this last time.

    are people in nc all fired up?

    yes! they are fired up...it was amazing to look around the venue...

    A 82 year old white women told him he stole her heart...Obama looks at her and says "I think you should be my running mate"...she literally ran down the isle to the stage...he came down and gave her a hug...
