Police use stun guns on greased, naked student

WESTERVILLE, Ohio (AP) -- A high school lunch period was disrupted Monday by a greased, naked student who ran around screaming and flailing his arms until police twice used a stun gun on him, authorities said.

Taylor Killian, 18, had rubbed his body with grapeseed oil to keep from being caught, and got up after the first time he was shocked to continue running toward a group of frightened students huddled in a corner at Westerville North High School, Lt. Jeff Gaylor said.

"That prank went a little farther than he intended, I guess," Gaylor said.

Officer Doug Staysniak was monitoring the lunch period when Killian, with long hair and a full beard, ran in the room toward students, who screamed and ran away. The officer is normally assigned to a middle school and did not recognize Killian as a student, Gaylor said.

Police said that an administrator ordered Killian to stop, but that the student made a sexual gesture and kept running.

Killian is in jail and charged with inducing panic, public indecency, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. A message seeking comment was left at Killian's home.

School officials reported that Killian was a good student, Gaylor said. There was no indication of substance abuse or a medical problem.

  • hehe, if i'd be a cop and had to deal with a greased naked student, i'd also use my stun gun :) , but seriously, cops can stun whoever they want, from 12 years old young girl to greasy naked students... you allow it, live with it...

I don't know what is funnier, the kid or the fact that the school has a cop posted at it.
You've changed your place in this world!

He probably deserve it, although a kid doing the same in Canada wouldn't get the stun gun, that's my point, it's legal to use these guns, so they use them, period.

In Canada, I'm sure they would have continued asking nicely without raising their voices and waited until the kid stopped or froze to death.

the police wouldn't have been called (in Canada they're too busy giving speeding tickets), some other kids would have beat the crap out of him, burn his clothes and throw him outside naked in the snow, then they'd have called an ambulance...

Also a very viable response. In the US though, some foundation for the freedom to run naked through high school lunch rooms would have sued the school, the principal, the district, the city and the parents of each kid who beat the crap out of him and the ambulance for not being there earlier and the kid would have moved someplace warmer with his newly "earned" millions. ;)
  • Incredible. :)

A friend of mine from New York said that someone did basically the same act but wearing a George W. mask last year,.. the grease actually kept him from getting caught. :D

Most schools here have a police officer or some form of formal security "post Columbine".

....or into erotic massage and erotic love making; without a stun gun.

At least I never thought of including a stun gun during these activites.

Ummmm it was probably the police liaison which lots of schools have.

    EDIT:
Most schools here have a police officer or some form of formal security "post Columbine".

My high school had a cop on campus long before Columbine.

Now I'm in Canada, but there aren't any cops except for dances and coffeehouses (bands play).
